Cyanotype Printmaking + Cottage Core Cookout
Saturday, November 15th
Hosted by Tulsa County Women’s Collective
Join us for a cozy afternoon of creativity, community, and autumn light!
We’ll gather to make botanical cyanotype prints—a beautiful photographic process that uses sunlight, chemistry, and natural materials to create vivid blue art. Founding member Liz will lead the print making and guide us through each step.
Afterward, we’ll relax and enjoy the season with an optional campfire cookout. Bring something to cook over the fire if you’d like to stay and share conversation and community.
Prep in Advance:
Bring pressed and dried leaves, flowers, grasses, or seed heads to use in your cyanotypes. Flat, dry plant materials work best!
What to Bring:
• Pressed & dried plant materials for cyanotype printing
• Something to cook over the fire (optional)
• A picnic blanket or camp chair
• Snacks or something to share (also optional)
• Clothes you don’t mind getting artsy in
We’ll Provide:
• Cyanotype chemistry, paper, and trays
• Fire ring, wood, and hot coals
• A welcoming space to gather, create, and connect
Let’s make something beautiful under the autumn sky.
