The 5th Annual Most Sincere Pumpkin Patch Party is proud to benefit The Chat – A Cat Cafe, our neighbors just a little east of the Nature Bubble in Broken Arrow’s Rose District!
The Chat gives adoptable cats from the Broken Arrow Animal Shelter and other local rescues a place to lounge, play, meet the public, and, with any luck, find the humans who will take them home.
We’ll be collecting CAT FOOD, SUPPLIES and DOLLARS at the party to help keep those cats fed, comfortable, and cared for while they wait for their families.

Come experience a microdose of Backwoods vibe at the historic Cain’s Ballroom as we rekindle the community, creativity and campfire‑born culture that started a movement! For one evening, we’ll bring Backwoods downtown and then chart a course for the 2027 festival run!

A revived Oklahoma original returns for one night of music, art, community, and Backwoods magic built from the festival’s legacy and fueled by its future. Backwoods Music Festival, the long‑running independent music and camping experience known for original music, art, workshops and all ages fun, returns to Oklahoma for a special one‑night celebration at the historic Cain’s Ballroom.
After the festival’s 2024 cancellation, original founders stepped back in to revive the spirit of Backwoods, bringing together the musicians, artists, fans, and creators who shaped its 17‑year legacy. Join us as we gather our crew and chart a course for a new leg of the adventure. This event begins the third chapter of Backwoods: a reunion, a revival, and the official kickoff to building the road back home. We’ll scout the woods, mini prairie, and gardens to meet some of Oklahoma’s most common invertebrates. Dr. Mackenzie will help us find and identify the creepy, crawly, fluttery, and many-legged neighbors living right in our own backyards.

We’re returning to the Nature Bubble to welcome the changing season with a morning in the woods.
We’ll begin at 10:30 AM with a sound bath. Led by Elly Archer, this immersive sound experience blends crystal bowls and elemental tones to calm the nervous system and open the heart. Special guest: Tree//Nature on zither and more!
Afterward, we’ll spend the day crafting in the woods under the last summer leaves, hopefully enjoying some of that long-awaited cooler weather. Bring whatever project you’re working on, find a comfortable spot, and make something alongside the group.
While we craft, we’ll also start talking about Garden Time, a community work-swapping idea for sharing our time and helping one another tackle projects in our gardens.
Come for the sound bath, stay for crafting, conversation, and a morning outside together on the edge of fall.

TCWC May Meetup
In May we explore Space
Our May meetup is Astronomy Night — the collective spoke and we listened.
We’re taking a TCWC field trip to the Astronomy Club of Tulsa’s dark-sky observatory for an evening of stargazing, connection, and a little collective sense of wonder. Expect telescopes, big skies, and good company.
Date: Friday, May 8th (weather permitting)
Start Time: 7:45 PM (plan to meet around 6:30 for carpooling)
Location: Near Mounds, OK (about 45 minutes south of Tulsa)
Carpooling is encouraged since parking is somewhat limited.
A suggested donation is appreciated by the Astronomy Club ($5 adults / $2 kids / under 6 free).

March Meet-Up: DIY Suet Feeders and Backyard Birdwatching
As the world wakes back up, we’re giving ourselves a reason to step outside, look up, listen closely, and reconnect with the living landscape all around us.
Our March meet-up will be led by TCWC member Kandice, who will guide us in DIY suet feeders for wild birds — a simple way to care for and welcome the winged life that shares our neighborhoods, parks, and woods.
Expect a gathering that feels friendly, relaxed, and fun. Nothing formal — just women coming together to notice, appreciate, and enjoy the natural world.
To enhance the experience, consider downloading the Merlin Bird ID app before we meet. We can compare Life Lists, see what birds are moving through our area, and maybe discover a few new favorites together.
And if we have any birders among us who’d like to help spot and share their knowledge, we would love that!

The Collaborative Twist
Everyone is invited to contribute their granny square(s) to a TCWC collaborative blanket!
• Each square you contribute = one raffle entry
• At the end, one lucky participant will win the finished blanket
• The more people who join in, the bigger, bolder, and wilder the blanket becomes

Join us for a cozy afternoon of creativity, community, and autumn light!
We’ll gather to make botanical cyanotype prints—a beautiful photographic process that uses sunlight, chemistry, and natural materials to create vivid blue art. Founding member Liz will lead the print making and guide us through each step.
Afterward, we’ll relax and enjoy the season with an optional campfire cookout. Bring something to cook over the fire if you’d like to stay and share conversation and community.
