Join us for a relaxed afternoon of creativity as TCWC member Asa Thompson teaches us how to make charming miniature gift bags and corner bookmarks from simple materials. Whether you’re an experienced crafter or haven’t made anything since elementary school, you’ll leave with a few handmade creations and a new skill.
We’ll have plenty of supplies on hand, but if you have favorite patterned paper or craft materials you’d like to use or share, feel free to bring them!
Ideas for supplies:
Pretty paper (scrapbook paper, wrapping paper, old book pages, etc.)
Cardboard tubes (paper towel or toilet paper rolls)
Paper hole punches
Twine or ribbon
Tape or glue
Your imagination
We’ll also be collecting submissions for the first official TCWC T-shirt! If you have a design idea, sketch, slogan, or concept, bring it along. Details about the T-shirt design contest will be coming soon.
