In a quiet community nestled between Rhema and The Rose District in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, a handful of families put their land, wits, and neighborly spirit on display.
Each family runs their own version of a suburban homestead. Pollinator gardens attract butterflies and bees, while the veggie and herb gardens attract children and wildlife. Goats chickens, and horses are the norm, here, as are the tell-tale signs of a hard-working, close-knit neighborhood: kids of all ages, roving in groups from yard to yard; projects in various stages, and adults stopping to chit chat. Each homestead in our district works closely with the land and employs their unique skills to bring goods and services to market.

A Horse and A Half is an authentic French bakery in the heart of Broken Arrow! Employing traditional French recipes, you’ll find a variety of fresh baguettes and breads, desserts and garden-fresh veggies and herbs on sale in a convenient road-side farm stand.
